Fabric, Textiles and Wool Gallery Oct - Nov 2017
« on: October 12, 2017, 10:28:25 PM »
About time, I am putting a little effort in and posting something.  It's not that I haven't made anything (although I can't find my camera) but that I am a lazy so and so!
Anyhow, a few fabric flowers that I am making for a friend for her craft stall.  They will be hairbands etc.

I think I like the lovely crisp blue one best. They are fairly large, around 5 inches across ...

The black and white one seems to be popular - they may be turned into fascinators, I think ...

They're lovely Sue.  I think they'll work really well as fascinators.

They are in the hands of my friend now - she has recently opened a handcrafted stall and I thought I'd make her a few bits and bobs to bump up her stock  :)

And this week i decided to chop the head off an older doll which was in desperate need of a revamp / makeover, and she looks so much better.

this is something new I've been wanting to make for ages, doll decorations. All painted with acrylics on cotton fabric with trims  :D
