Strange question about watercolours.
« on: June 04, 2015, 04:57:12 PM »
If I paint using watercolours, will the paint still look good after 15 years of being in an envelope? It will be on watercolour paper.

It should be ok if on watercolour paper, stored out of the light and kept dry and mildew free. Maybe wrap in acid free tissue paper before going in the envelope, and maybe put it in a plastic bag but not sure about that one. I have paintings that are quite old ,over 20 years and they are fine in a portfolio in tissue paper
