Hee, yes! Hmm, my boyfriend has an unused airbrush. I might have to threaten I'd found a use for it if he never does!

Does anyone know where I can get the labels?!
I love the charity, but of course cannot donate beads so would love to make some

Some more bags: alphabet and flowers.

I added butterfly buttons - here's a closeup.

Cars, lots of cars!

The red bag I did a way Sue suggested: sewed the bottom and sides of the inner and outer separately, put one inside the other and then closed up the top rather than having a side gap to close at the end. Need to practice top hemmings if I do it that way, I think! It could be a bit neater.

I have pieces cut for the camo-pattern bags, was just using lighter thread at this point. I am testing various thread types for how fast they lint up my machine, without using little Gutermann spools all the time. Coats Epic/Polyfil cones seem to be working pretty well. I started because I got some Empress Mills poly thread, which is recommended as a decent one, and was surprised to see just how much lint it left behind compared to the Gutermann. Sews perfectly fine, but I wanted something that was more equivalent.

There's an awful lot of "this is a good/bad thread" and "my machine only likes such-and-such" but not actual head-to-head comparisons when the question I wanted answering was to name me threads I could get in larger quantities that were comparable to Gutermann Sew-All.

Those are fab Heather, the pretty butterfly buttons are a nice touch on the floral one. Love the car and alphabet fabrics :)

I should remember to post here too...

More bags, including the camo ones.

These were all finished by sewing closed round the top - slightly faster as I did them assembly-line style.
