Done - and that was incredibly hard, had to get my son to help me choose between some of them!  Stunning work all round.

Says voting is no longer acepting responses. Guess I missed it. Sorry. I do love your necklace Lynn. Looks a lot more comfortable to wear than the other.

Thank you - I'm out in the first round again, but never mind, it was a lot of fun  ;D

As a change from all those neutrals and crystals (and as a warmup for the upcoming Ugly Necklace Contest  :P) I took the sort-of alien spiky coral thingy I made a while ago and turned it into a wearable necklace. The sort of necklace that only its creator could love. And I do  ;D

I added a tubular peyote rope (with flexible joints because peyote tubes don't drape enough for me) and stitched an extra 'polyp' to act as a clasp button.

Modified herringbone stitch loop on the other end, a few more spiky bits and it's good to go  :)

Er - actually, I bloody love it!!!  It's beautiful Lynn.
Gutted that you're out, but wow, you were up against it.  I did actually prefer your piece, although the other was gorgeous too.
