Sticking labels on slumped bottles
« on: May 23, 2014, 01:00:01 PM »
Help! I'm slumping some beer and small wine bottles for my friend to use as tea light holders in her pub. So far I've kept them plain. But I have a few with nice labels and would like to fix them on the slumped bottles. I keep reading about modge podge when I google, but that seems to be a US product. Someone suggested using fired on decals but I've not had much success with these.
Any help gratefully received as these are a present for my friend in her new venture!!!!

You can get mod podge at hobbycraft but tbh it just looks like pva, like Jille says.

I have half a ton of modge podge here - including a sparkly one, if you want me to send you a bit.  I'm sure I have a wee bottle I could pop it in for you.  ;)
