Hey Everyone! :)
I thought that it would be nice for me to set up a nice little challenge for you all! :D

We are a nice little group of crafters, and since we are a relatively new little forum that welcomes new tutorials written by members – I thought I would start up a “Tutorial Challenge” to encourage us all to create and share your own!

Oh and yes … there’s a prize … ;)
one of my Sterling Silver pendant necklaces! I have chosen the Wildflower butterfly one ;D

So – some rules …
~  The tutorial must be posted on this thread below (when the challenge is closed they will be moved by admin to the relevant boards)

~   If you wish to submit just a link to your tutorial on your website/blog, please include a picture too. :)

~   All tutorials already featured on CP cannot be resubmitted.

~  The prize will be awarded by a random draw
one complete tutorial = one ticket into the draw.
(example, you enter 3 tutorials, your name goes in to the draw 3 times! ;) )

~  If your tutorial is inspired by the work or techniques of another artist please be sure to credit them in your post. For the tutorial, you must be using your own pictures, your own instructions in your own words, and you should have the experience of making your finished design yourself.

~  Please submit by 31st July 2011 :)

So, guys and gals... tutorials can be tough to write and create, I'm still new to writing tutorials, and they are really a challenge to do! So, have a think about what you would like to share with the forum and get your camera out and have a go at writing a tutorial! :)

All crafts are welcome, and of course all members old and new are welcome to enter. 8)

Good luck! :-*

I have a tutorial that I put on my site on handling gold leaf the 'proper' way using a guilders cishion and knife. it was aimed more at lampworkers originally, but I think it might be useful to anyone using leaf (cakemakers, cardmakers etc). I'll try and see if I have the original pictures, else will add the link if anyone thinks it would be useful  ;D

Loving all of your enthusiasm! :D
I'm also going to make a new tutorial or two for the forum ... I made a really silly simple ribbon covered pen the other day so i'll remake that i think.

Nan - thanks for submitting the first! *woop!* We're on a roll already!

Glenn - handling gold leaf of course would be useful across a lot of crafts! x
