I am soooo hooked on bead embroidery and I would never have said it was for me but...

First attempt at a brooch, it has a few points to learn from but over all I am really chuffed with it, I do have big plans for bead embroidery and have had for a while so watch this space...

Our Sue and our Kat popped over this week and Kat taught me how to make beaded kumihimo braids. The first bracelet was created using a kit that she put together for me with awesome end caps ;D The second one is my first attempt on my own, made this morning, with one of my lampies in the middle.

I don't know about addicted just yet, but I did enjoy making these ;D I think I'd like to play about with other types of fasteners. I got a second disk and Ruby sat down with me today and had a go at waving a braid, she did really well with it.

Lovely bracelet Lynn. Did you settle on a name for it?  Great brooch Laney.  Love the kumihimo Jo.   :)
