playing with cameras and editing
« on: May 27, 2013, 01:01:48 PM »
Today I'm trying to improve on my photo's so I'm ready to shoot for the sale.

Basically I'm useless, very inconsistent with my pix, i don't even know what camera works best, so here are 2 collages, one is with the canon Powershot and the other the Panasonic Lumix. I've edited  pix using various bits of software, but I still feel I'm at a loss as to what works best.

Canon Powershot,
Top from L to R, photo unedited,  Microsoft software
Bottom , Picmonkey, WB altered in Lightroom, that's all I could work out how to do.

Interesting comparisons Jille, for me the Canon is a tiny bit better but I will say that the Panasonic one edited in picmonkey is pretty close to the canon lightroom photo.  :)

The canon does seem a little brighter than the lumix, but you can probably alter that a bit with a photo editor.  I use pixlr but I believe Gimp is quite popular, too (just to confuse you some more)!  Both of these are free and available on the web  :)
