fab pics the difference you get with an SLR is amazing you can see every detail and colour is rich and not washed out well done

The only thing I did was crop a couple of them. I have not touched any of them up. The larger pics are amazing, you can clearly see all the detail. I  have only had this camera a couple of hours, and can't wait to use the manual settings. I am going to retake all my photos in my etsy shop and see if there is any difference in sales.

Really amazing - just shows it's worth paying out for a better camera if possible.  :)

That is amazing Ilona. Just goes to show what a decent camera can do. Do you know if the ISO setting is any different between the two sets? 'Cause (with all me reacent experiments) I have found the lower the ISO the better for getting detail in macro.

I have just checked in Picasa, and this one was taken on the Macro setting on Automatic iso. it sale it is iso 100.

Oh cool! I think the problem with the old pics was the camera's averaging of the values made the background too light and so washed everything else out. Whereas the new can obviously get the background right on auto  ;D
