Pics taken with old camera / new camera
« on: May 09, 2013, 08:07:42 PM »
These are the same beads taken with my old point and shoot Olympus camera taken with the super macro setting. I was fed up with not being able to get good photos even with a light tent and daylight lamps. My photos always looked washed out.

These are taken on my new to me DSLR Olympus E500 using the macro setting. I have not changed anything the lights and the tents are the same.

I think they are better than they were.

Wow what a difference - they looked really bleached out with the old camera didn't they?  Bet you're chuffed to bits! x

It's amazing the difference, they look more richer in colour.  :)

They do look much richer, are they true to colour?
You can see what you get with a good camera

what a difference. The 2nd set look amazing compared to the 1st. Much richer and you can really see the detail in the beads
