This is NOT a lovely looking plant.  But it's incredibly interesting looking (and a bit gross where the littlie trod on it), and I really love the textural difference between the undamaged plant and the damaged part.

Snicker - looks like a moss of some kind, not sure to be honest, but the make up of it suggests moss.  I think?  I'd love to know what it is.  But when you tread on it, it turns into pus.  :-X
