I'll launch it next month once i've ironed everything out. i want to make a downloadable pdf instruction sheet.
I just get white tiles from B&Q, they have some about 10cm square, if you want to go larger that's fine, but it's more time doodling, and so long as it's postable and fits in the kiln.
I have an sc3, i have room to get a kiln shelf in the bottom, standing on some posts. A 10cm square tile will fit on the shelf. I don't think the bead door will matter so long as it can be closed. What you really need is the ability to control the temperature rise , but having said that I've just whacked the kiln on full before and everything was fine. I knew a professional artist from The Potteries who fired all his work that way. You need to be able to go up to around 750c to 800C, and the kiln is left to cool naturally.

I once made a movie for a Paragon competition trying to show how versatile the SC3 is

SC2 isn't as tall but you can still get a tile in, or jewellery cabs, boxes etc.
